Are small business companies going to take advantage of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic security (CARES) act? ($350 billion).

Yes - People and Businesses are desperate and they lose their moral compass and feel the oversight is not going to be stringent enough.

No everyone will take the moral ground and do the right thing and there is plenty of oversight to ensure they will not.

If “taking the moral ground” includes obtaining financial assistance from the government so companies can survive and employees can put food on the table and pay their rent....  then yes we will all be morally stringent!   Not everyone has businesses that keep plugging away or savings as a back up plan to live off of.

Yes these are desperate times for many small businesses that will condition and generate desperate measures for some, not all, but we must also not forget that sometimes the hand that feeds you is also the same hand trying to ensure that you stay hungry with your hand out!

Have a handful of long time close friends that own local small businesses. They’re in dire straights and very scared... whether or not it’s loss of moral compass or desperation... they’ll stretch what ever resources they can to provide not only for their own families but their EE’s families... lots of pressure and more than just their own they are obligated too. Just being real. Very scary times!
