What should be done in areas with Riots and Lootong like Chicago, Portland, etc?

Beef up mass police and national guard and keep them there permanently arrest everyone that fucks around

Sit down and have peaceful conversations with the communities and open dialog about issues

It's their right to riot and set shit on fire leave them alone insurance pays for the damage

Not sure about Portland but Chicago is out of control. There needs to be a zero tolerance policy not for rioting only but also for all the crime

Black Lives Dont seem to matter to black people in Chicago that are killing each other in crazy numbers

Hardworking black business owners are getting put out of business in Chicago long before any looting and rioting.  Insane violence in their inner cities

The gangs, thugs, etc have taken over and turned parts of that city into a war zone. 

My gf is black from Chicago and says police need to go in and clean it up and get rid of the scumbags and make chicago safer and allow more opportunities for black business owners to thrive . I am not usually for police presence but I think those neighborhoods need mass police presence

Obviously criminals need to be held accountable, but not all protesters are criminals. I think the riots can be counter intuitive, but also productive, it is a rabbit hole I don’t think I am prepared to go down on this app. But damage to personal property is criminal, and should be handled as such.
