I deffinatley thank the MLB manipulates the ball but not sure it’s completly based on free agency. I think it’s more about wanting more offense to keep younger watchers following. Also Pete’s comments there didn’t really make a ton of sense there. Also maybe there wouldn’t be as much of a need to juice the ball if pitchers were using substances to add spin/movement to their pitches

Once pitchers stop the substances then the hitter’s disadvantage will go away. The ball being un juiced doesn’t give the hitters a disadvantage the subastances do
