The two questions posed conflict with each other, but I voted "yes" to the first question by voting "no" to the second question (in the description) - "do you think it will be "cancelled?"  
ComicCon is simply too important to the city's economy for them to cancel it two years in a row.  My guess is the city's leaders and the ComicCon group will go to great lengths to hold the event next year, even if it means them coming up with a contingency plan to have it outdoors around the convention center and other parts of downtown if that's what makes people feel safe.
