Nostalgia aside, from top to bottom, the original dream team was the best basketball team that was ever formed. If you could switch out Kobe 2012 to 2008 team, it would obviously increase the 2012 team's chances, but I think the 1992 team would still win! It would be a great game to watch.

This is a great question. I'm more connected to the 92 team because that's the team I followed the most in my young adult years. It's hard to tell different generations how they would match up with each other because today's athletes are much better trained. I got the sense that the 92 team was really locked in to defending America's honor.
