This is going to be a tough match-up for Ferguson as Gaethje's approach and capabilities in the octagon are very different than Khabib. But given he's had a little more time to adjust and prepare for Gaethje, I think, if Ferguson can withstand the first two rounds and deal with the pressure that Gaethje is going to bring, Ferguson should find a way to wear him down submit him in rounds 3 of 4. I don't see this going to the judges as both of these fighters are not shy about applying pressure and making contact.

You might be right, the delay has definitely given more time to Gaethje to prepare, so that doesn't bode well for Ferguson. Tony also may have issues as he completes a double weight cut in one month's time. But even then, Tony has crazy stamina and a good chin. The action in this fight is going to be awesome, I hope it into the 5th round. Tony deserved a shot at Khabib, so part of me is rooting for him so that can hopefully then transpire in the fall. But the UFC match-ups are always in flux and as Dana and his team determines.

I go back to the Pettis vs Ferguson fight. Pettis brought that fight to Ferguson, bloody and battered. But it was Pettis who got injured in the fight and his tank started to run on empty.

Gaethje is a different animal that's for sure. Gaethje likes the pocket and will keep the pressure and his tank doesn't often empty. Ferguson wins the fight if he catches Gaethje slipping. If not then Gaethje takes the W by rd 2.

Just started watching him recently and yea good fighter

Yeah, been a fan of Justin for a while. His style is entertaining and unorthodox like Tony. Style wise this fight is prime.
