Would you be ok if the new 1090 used On Air Talent working remote from other states?

Maybe would be the best answer. If it’s straight sports talk, no thanks. ESPN is useful for sports bias. If someone has unique points, I will listen.

I think the whole point of me joining 1090 years ago was because it was centralized and localize.  Yes we had the chargers and that was a big chunk on why I listened, but since they left there has been a gap in certain sports topics.  I know wanting to grow nationally is a topic at hand, but I want to connect with the guys more on a local level.  I want SD to get the exposure and appreciation!Look at it this way.  I would listen to Jim Rome in the morning and he was part of the 1090 it was entertaining, but I never seemed as commited to him as I did to scott and Br!Then again we had Rome in the morning and he was more national so it could work.

I don't think you even need "On Air Talent". There are tons of Podcasts, that you could either have them pay to play or pay them to air their content.

I agree, i. Would like or prefer local on air talent, if its a So Cal station I would be fine with LA guys broadcasting on the station but I dont want an east coast station or guy broadcasting on it...
