The rushing attack with the heismen backfield in Lamar and Ingram, It must be hard to play against this as you dont got to watch the receivers but lamar get a lane he gone. Track speed does kill.

Scott, it pains me to say this. I’m a Rams fan. My in-laws live with me and my family(ugh). Father In-law is from the Bay Area and is a huge 49ers fan. So far all year I’ve had to hear him say 49ers this, 49ers that, while in my mind I think they’re completely trash and a joke. I find myself rooting against them so hard, and was sick that they Saints couldn’t stop them in the last 40 seconds to win this past Sunday.With all that being said. The 49ers are a very good team. They play extremely well on both sides of the ball which is what good successful teams must do in order to win in this league. Jimmy G just  does enough in the passing game and has actually blossomed more with Sanders and a healthy Kittle. They have a 3-headed running game and their Defense is stingy AF. Shaba Han has done a great job this far. No disrespect to Baltimore and what they’ve been able to do with Lamar, and  the Saints and Brees and company and KC, but the 49ers are the best complete team right now. Santa Clara and the Bay’s passionate fans have waited a while for winning football to return and they’ll be a tough out come playoffs. On paper, they’re still crappy to me, but they’re record indicates otherwise. I can’t believe I said that. Now for this Rams fan, win and you’re in (with a little help from the Chargers this week against the Vikes). Great Friends!

Defense wins championships always! Patriots have the #1 D in the NFL and even after a poor showing against KC, they still should’ve won that game. Belichick is a game master and without any receivers Brady’s still making it happen. Baltimore will give them a run but after playing them once already, Belichick will be ready with a plan for Lamar. AFC Championship game will be Baltimore vs. Patriots.

Drew Brees has been on Scott's man crush list since before he left town in 2006. The Saints have also been the most consistent team in the NFC all year and can play with and beat anybody on this list.

it's hard to disagree with the 49rs. But Baltimore is unstoppable right now. 49rs have shown more ups and downs. One thing I think we will see is lack of experience come to play when the playoffs start. Baltimore has to go through New England. Baltimore should destroy them but I need convinced otherwise. 49ers are going to be tough to beat here down the stretch. Kittle showed he’s the new Terminator of the league, Garoppolo got what I consider his first big signature win, and this team can either get down and dirty keeping the score close and low (vs Baltimore) or they can take off in a track meet (vs New Orleans).

the New England Patriots are the best team..we all hate them but they are the best. They mess with ours and other teams minds..like crazy tricksters they make us feel they are falling apart..Tom BRADY is getting old..they are cheating.truth is they have a great record. The best coach in NFL history. And now after being accused of cheating "spygate 2.0" Tom and Bill will ruthlessly destroy all opponents..you watch em win it again...and i hate them.

While they were home, Baltimore beat SF and has the better QB. Kansas City will lose to the Bears and Chargers - they are second tier despite Mahomes. San Francisco is spelled incorrectly here but that is not the reason I chose Baltimore (LOL). New Orleans and New England are 3 and 4, Chiefs are 5. Baltimore over SF in Super Bowl.

It's very hard NOT to see the Ravens as the best team NOW in the NFL.  Their 194 point differential is huge!  Good defense, great offense.  The issue is what team is the best now.  There has never been a team with a mobile, running QB over the long haul.  Maybe not even the short haul.  The leagues history is littered with Michael Vick, Steve Young, Bobby Douglas yada, yada, yada.  They just will not last.  Jackson is a great dude, but I'm afraid he's just one solid hit away from being done.  It's not how you start but rather where you finish.  The Ravens are the best right now!!

Definitely agree based on them beating the Saints last week. Overall though I'd say its  really hard to pick between them and the Ravens. I would also say i could agree with the rest except the Patriots at #5. If were basing this on this being a week to week thing/league then for me the Patriots are not Top 5. In place I might actually put Tennessee at #5 esspecially at 6-1 in their last 7.

Baltimore has won 9 straight. They had a bad loss to the Browns early on and to a very good Chiefs team. They have beaten three division leaders.  Right now their defense is playing great and their offense is ridiculous.

Ravens deserve to be #1 over the Niners.  The Niners are in benefiting from an easier schedule and in my humble opinion, the AFC North is a tougher division than the NFC West.

They've never lost two in a row all year, hold the second best record in the NFC (along with Packers and Seahawks), weathered the injury to Brees earlier in the year, hold wins over the Rams, Seahawks, and Texans, only major loss was this past weekend to 49ers. Loss to Dolphins was during the last game of preseason, so that shit don't count. And I am not saying Brees is playing as well as he did when they won it all many years ago, but this team is as balanced as any he's played on. If they take home field, the Superdome is a tough out for any team. The 49ers are having an unbelievable year, but they have an unproven QB in the playoffs.

How can the Saints be the most consistent team in the NFC when they have the same record as the Packers and Seahawks? Plus they play in a weaker division and lost to the Falcons&Dolphins. Brees is Amazing but the saints aren't going far in the playoffs.
