Make a prediction, when will NBA arenas, MLB ball parks, NFL stadiums, concert venues all be at pre Covid full capacity?

It seems the Covid situation is getting worse.  Hopefully the vaccine will turn the curve downward quickly.  It would be great to have everything open back up to a 100% capacity but I’m skeptical to see that happen in 2021.  I hope I’m wrong.

I think it is going to take a loooooong while for this to work itself out. Different sports and leagues, different states and policies that host teams have to comply with, different venues and capacities to fill, different fan bases, some extremely loyal and interested, others not so much, all require some form of disposable income... Who knows how this virus (or another virus) and the economy of sports will continue to play out over the ensuing years in this country. There is a lot of risk across the board and a lot of assumptions being thrown about. The economic restructuring is happening in real time right now and will continue to unfold in future media deals and labor and collective bargaining negotiations. It's going to be a tough pill to swallow for owners, but beyond the safety protocols and vaccine confirmations that will be necessary, they are also going to have to be creative in making games more affordable for fans to attend. So, I really see this is a long term play that assumes a lot on multiple fronts, including that the virus is under control and that people are still interested and have the means to attend games like they used to.

although I’d likely be part of the group that goes as soon as it’s allowed... still hoping the NLL (planning to start back up in April) and MLB allows fans even if limited 🙏

2021 is too early and it will still be too early. The year 2022 is more likely that sports will be close to being back to preCovid days
