Do you run the risk of looking like an idiot for asking a question in a meeting or do you lie and try to figure it out?

Ask for someone to repeat and explain. A turtle may only advance when it sticks its neck out.

Remain quite. Better to remain silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Fake a connection issue and ask a co-worker later on. Blame everyone and everything as long as it is not you.
