There will be other disruptions that I'm reading - particularly early on.  For example, temperature screenings into buildings, arenas, stadiums...  There will probably be social distancing in restaurants...  My gym sent out survey that they will only admit a finite number of people at a time - while limiting the time.

This virus isn't going anywhere anytime soon.  Face masks are going to start becoming a norm.  I imagine most parents will start to making their children wear them, and I wouldn't be surprised if schools and offices required them.

No!!!Americans ridiculed other cultures for wearing masks! If you saw someone on a plane with a mask you thought, why would you bring your sick ass on this plane? We are Americans, and the way we didn’t allow terrorists to stop us after 9/11, we cannot let the Corona Virus kill our way of life! When I see you, let’s hug it out minus masks!

Asian communities wear them but we won't unless it is proven that it is in fact "the equivalent of wearing a seat belt safety wise." It is possible that they will become popular on airplanes.

I won’t, hope not and since it protects others (much more than yourself) I don’t think it will be the norm... besides facial recognition technology doesn’t work and it’s a pain to unlock my phone!

Everything will go back to normal. Sneezing into each other’s carts and spreading out germs in the check out lanes.

masks are way more annoying than seatbelts and face recognition technology (including my phone) doesn’t work!

and the way we didn't allow terrorists to stop us after 9/11...well the terrorist did change life forever in the US. So, maybe that's not a good point. But agree with everything else.

there will be some things that won't go back to normal...  I believe that shaking hands will evolve involve into fist/elbow bumps.
