Do You Support Proposition 22, which Creates an Exemption for Rideshare Drivers from AB 5?

I support Proposition 22 but we need updated worker-protections that recognize a new class of worker.

I did uber for a while and it didn't pay very well because as an independent contractor you don't get benefits and all expenses come out of pocket. On the plus side, you make your own hours and if you want time of you just take it. So that new class of worker sounds like a great fit!

Probably a new class of worker rather then just put them in one bucket or the other. This whole thing just seems like overstepping by the state congress.

Companies need to make sure their workers are taken care of, regardless.

I think a new class is necessary for ride share drivers and delivery services. Companies need to also offer better incentives and stop taking advantage of the tax breaks.
