Now that Pacific Beach Gym has been busted for operating illegally and spawning an outbreak, 

Should they be held fiscally responsible, providing they have insurance

Should the people managing and owning the facility be charged and sentenced

I’m going to really think this over and stop going to a public gym

Why I wouldn't go to the Gym during this time and havent, too much bodily fluids and who knows if shits clean. And the owner should be financially punished not charged, people going are just as responsible as the owners.

The people going to that gym took the risk.  It’s hard to blame someone for trying to make a living.  If waivers were signed then they can’t be held liable.  At the end of the day did they break th law?  It then becomes a legal issue vs. a moral.

People going there should’ve known they shouldn’t be, they made the choice.  Whatever the fine is for staying open they should pay it.  Rules are rules don’t always love them but we are supposed to be accountable for our actions

They have to open to survive! Businesses are hurting financially, owners have bills, rent, mortgage, payroll, etc and it’s not like they’re getting unemployment + $600 per week that pays all their expenses and have left over $$ - sad to think that many businesses are or will be done from this!!!

If they actually broke the law they should be held accountable. If they merely did not live up to guidance from our esteemed governor, that is different. Did all attendees sign a waiver? Did employees have temperature checks? I would need more info.

I’m not sure what that means. Did one person have it and went to the gym? All people who went to the gym were tested?  Who made this call? Who wanted to ruin this persons business to name it? Did the people that attended the gym also attend a protest?

I agree businesses should be open, but they need to be responsible first, obeying laws and not letting kids run the places, letting people in sans mask and not enforcing social distancing. Many businesses have managed to follow these rules and are open. Idiots like this and many other gyms and hair stylists are ruining it for the other businesses that need to be open too!

From what I have seen and read, the kids in place and the owners who put them there without monitoring are the problem. Regardless of what the governor says, I’ll bet you go into any establishment deemed to be closed, there are no masks or distancing. My former hair cutter quit because the owner came back from Fla, no quarantine and is also operating illegally in Temecula. She has been reported and the city has not taken action. Therein lies the problem, blatant disregard for public safety with no enforcement.

That’s the problem, you just don’t know and yes there are people out there commiting Covid fraud including naming names and get this, naming their enemies so when follow teams do tracing, put them in Federal quarantine.
