Re-hab, can't really help them in jail, its also a waste a space for someone who really hasn't don't anything then fuck themselves up.

If it's an illegal drug, and if they want clean. If they don't want it they will go right back to it.

Until a drug addict commits a crime, no need to do any time. Rehab only!

Addiction sucks. They need help not jail.

Do they deserve to go to jail by break a law? If so they need to serve their time. And let them attend rehab while there.

They should go to jail, but receive rehab services simultaneously (maybe more like a jail hospital and living conditions aren’t as harsh).
