Prejudiced for a number of reasons; living in California, we have the Pacific Ocean. Find me a day with low tide at sunset and I am there to see the green flash. I also have a house that I cited to face the coast--nice views are a thing for me. Then, I am a long day person--up at the break of dawn and still going at sunset but I'm in my full stride at sunset.

Both are awesome, but seeing the sunrise seems like you are up and being productive.

Sunrise is beautiful, and can be religious based on where you are to witness it, but I am partial to sunset, because literally every evening in So Cal there is a sunset opportunity, and the possibility of a green flash for good luck!

Absolutely, many indigenous people's I work with believe the places where sunlight first hits in the morinng are sacred. Doorways to their homes and other dwellings are aligned to the east. For me personally, growing up in Encinitas and now displaced to the Puget Sound, I miss those sunsets I used to watch along the Pacific Coast... There is a reason why Parmahansa Yoganda too refuge at the spot at Swami's... sunsets at Cardiff Reef, George's and Seaside are magical. You are a lucky man!
