Who was the better pro wrestling interview Rowdy Roddy Piper or CM Punk?

Piper was just naturally an angry person. I remember watching wrestling on Sunday afternoons between 2:30pm and 3:00 pm on channel 13(?) and thats when I seen the Piper Pit and Snuka interview. It was shocking to see this on TV at this time (1984). Everything and everyone since then has copied RRPiper in some sort of way.

Much as I loved Piper, CM Punk takes this solely based on the era. Punk was lucky enough to be able to drop pipe bombs in an era where media is EVERYWHERE and EVERYONE is a journalist. Therefore, anything he says has so much more potential to be viral. The argument can be had that Piper could’ve been the same way in this era, but unfortunately, we’ll never know.

Cm Punk is great, but it was only the pipebomb that put him on the map, and exposed his greatness, Piper was controversial and pushed the edge in a time when things werent edgy I mean this is the guy who colored half his face black because he was trying to get into his opponents head.  He played mental games and knew how to work the mic to get his opponents and the fans against him!
