The Padres match up well with each team in the NL West and while enduring growing pains, they have the seasoned pros and young talent to win a sprint.

They absolutely have what it takes now they just have to do it.

Eight teams per league make the postseason. Three division winners. That’s five extra teams, a third place could definitely make the postseason.

Not sure 3rd place puts them in playoffs but tks!
