Should Hyatt have passed on hosting CPAC this weekend?

Why would we (hoteliers) turn down business? Most cities would love to host Democrats or Republicans as well as other legitimate political groups, or, for that matter any legal and reasonable organization. Would I host the mob? No. Well, maybe if at gun point. Seriously, CPAC would be welcome at my hotels as would every left or right leaning organization, every legitimate political candidate and virtually any guest. There are laws requiring me to accept all guests and groups, with very rare exceptions

The fact a company is facing backlash for hosting a politically charged event is saddening. What are they even mad at? If you don’t like it then don’t tune in... simple as that!
