Should the Padres trade Paddack this off-season if the Padres can get good value in return?

Tommy Farace (Like Versace)

They need to teach a 3rd and maybe a 4th pitch. He will continue to get hammered if you have a 50% chance on the speed of his pitch.

Not sure yet, depends if they really feel like theres something else out there and/or if they think hes reached his peak of what he can do. Generally pitching wise though hard to find good/consistant pitchers and of late that list has been short.

Too early, he’ll figure it out... where’s Balsley!!??

You can always get a bunch of good players for a good pitcher

Could be a sophomore slump, could be injured, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing what we could get for him.

I am still mostly a believer in Preller at this point, so if he were to trade him I'd trust it was the right thing to do. He's shown enough flashes that I'd like to see him another year before making a personal judgement about whether to keep him or not, even if that means his trade value potentially plummets.

Chris Paddack is all character and much less game. Meaning, last year the Padres came up with inventing this character, before he was ever good enough to be one! Now the character preceded the good pitcher. All of this was easy, just have Wayne Partello tell Kevin Acee what to write, to feed the fan base the message they wanted to send.
