No just bad luck after he got busted for roids

Toby McDonald

I went from a die hard fan borderline man crush to feeling like he cheated not just in the game itself but cheated all us fans and st the time the Chargers organizationI seriously have no idea why or how he is now some NFL spokesman nor dont get his he is a Dean Spanos appologist

Honestly I don’t care what an elite athlete takes. I understand the hate towards the Chargers organization. I feel it, too. However, 2006 was an unreal moment for the Chargers and San Diego. I will never forget that 14-2 team.

Super disappointed just wasn’t the same player without the roids... and can’t blame injuries.

Roids, Only two bones grow when on roids-jaw bone and forehead(frontal bone). But Roids makes the muscles squeeze tighter but tendons and ligaments don't stretch, so the muscles rip and tear off the tendon. .. Look at JJ Watt, that boy is all roided out but he is a good character for the NFL so the NFL looks the other way.

Bubba

Fraud and even if he wasn't, whatever talent he had got burned by the Steroids and broke his body down.

Derrick McQuinn

It’s pretty obvious. His stats pre and post roids suspension tells the whole story. Not to mention he’s a fraud as a person. Woman beater too.

God sorry for all the grammatical errors freaking cell phone!!

You were a big part of that year Scott! I had just gotten back from teaching overseas and listening to you and br in the mornings was the best ever! Thank you for those memories!!

Feeling you! That was a euphoric time for Charger fans!

I hear you but Im speaking in the tense that I found him a fraud even during that season. Though mainlybthe season after. Nothing to do with the hatred towards Spanos nowadays

Was Shawne Merriman a fraud?
