I voted Yes cause your question is misleading. They didn't defund the police. They cut the budget by $4 Million. The mayor asked the council to cut the budget by 50% which would be crazy. But the council voted against that! They still have a budget of nearly $400 million.

Police dept. needs to hire and educate better many officers are there for their check and benefits but in a crisis they shit in their pants and start shooting like crazy
