Has always been my dream even before all this shit going on. Self reliant. Hunt my own food, not worry about the politics and bullshit drama of the world. Then again would certainly be a HUGE lifestyle change. But could pull it off for 2 years not having to worry about covid, riots, proetest, etc

I’m a loner, so if I weren’t married, I would live way out in a isolated desert or woods.

If I were single or had no kids I would live off the grid and would have been gone already. But, I will live out the shit storm even if the grid opportunity hits me in the head. Too many family members to take care of. I'm supposed to be the rock, and this rock ain't going nowhere.

Even if you leave and be off the grid for two years, it doesn't mean that that the situation will get better. Actually, it might be even worse, even if it is a whole new set problems.
