It's Padres off-season, spend money on the outfield and trade/bring up pitchers or spend money on aces and keep/trade for outfielders

Spend money in pitching, trade/keep outfield

Spend money on the outfield, trade for/bring up pitchers

The outfield is important but ultimately to me pitching is tougher to find and the Padres really need to have 1-2 solid veteran pitchers. At the end of the day not every pitcher is going to work out so having some solid veterans guys who make a huge difference, esspecially if your planning to limit your young pitchers inning count.I think between minor leagues and some smart trades you can find some solid outfielders, even maybe some free agents.

Sign Strasburg, trade Margot and/or Jankowski. Sign another starting pitcher AND a reliever. Look for a decent free agent catcher too.

We need to keep ERA down in order to win ball games

Yeah the Jankowski, trade was a quiet one. And I think probably with the little money they have in Margot they hold onto him untill they figure something else out.

Love it, Padres already traded Jankowski to Reds for cash.
