Rapper Jay-Z and the NFL rip Colin Kaepernick after he misses planned workout

Did Colin Kaepernick ruin his chances of rejoining the NFL on Saturday?

Yes! He should have never scrapped his scheduled workout

He never had a chance to rejoin the NFL anyway

No! He played well in his workout and showed that he still has the talent!

Kap decided to do things his way, which I'm OK with. The NFL has shown to be very controlling and the owners don't always make the right decisions (See the Chargers). So Kap moved around that control and held his own. I saw the workout and he's got skills, man. He's 32 yrs old and probably feels it's his last chance to showcase at the highest level. Whether or not he plays in the NFL again, who knows. But he wanted to really see which teams were honest about coming to watch without control from the league.

I think this is a mix of two things. First the NFL made it easy or hard depending on how you want to put it for Kaepernick not to show up. Secondly Kapernick knowing where the NFL stands already is an idiot for not showing up at the official workout if he actually really wants to play in the NFL. I think each side had a fair reason for doing what they did.Ultimately, I think Kaepernick played right into the NFL's hands and gave them the out on this issue they oh so wanted. Now to me it is easy for the NFL to say well we gave him a shot but he wasn't interested and being that the majority of people don't look into these type of things for themselves will probably not understand the full thing. So to answer the actually answer the question did Kaepernick ruin his chances, I'd have to say yes with the asterisk that I don't know think the NFL really intended this to help him coming back. Or and maybe I am crazy maybe the NFL Paid Kaepernick for this and to make make him go away, because it really doesn't seem like as big a fuss about what happened on Kaekpernicks part.Anyways sorry for the long post.

I don't have a problem with that either, but he should have just planned that earlier then waiting untill the day of or even before. I deffinatley agree the Owners are very controlling  and he played right into their hands.
