Best way I can describe my conviction that Messi is the GOAT is simply that Ronaldo looks like an athlete. He’s big, tall, muscular and basically just fits the bill for a futballer physically. Now Messi on the other hand is short, small, and not built like most soccer players. So for him to do what he does in the land of the giants blows my mind. The ordinary aesthetic of him as a person and then see him and all he does on the pitch is crazy!

I wish I could express it better, but I will just say watching Messi play is like watching the gods choose sides.

Messi has to do more with less...meaning he's not as tall or physically imposing as Ronaldo so he's got to work with what he has and has been a stud on the pitch.
