Is Philip Rivers still a top starting QB in the NFL?

He’s still a top 10 in my opinion and now free from San Diego’s former team’s ownership. I hope he kills it!!

With all due respect to Rivers and his contributions to the SD community over the years and some of his statistical accomplishments while with the Chargers, I've never really considered him a top NFL QB. He's been consistently good, at times really good, but never great. I don't remember Rivers doing much of anything in the playoffs or in the crunch time when games were on the line and they needed him to do something.

Christopher Moreno

I say yes because of the experience, but barely.

Anthony Avila

I think he had one more year left. Then, he’s mr. dad!

MaryBeth Zmuda

He's a bit past his prime, couldn't get to the top with the talent from those Norv Turner days. too late now.

Gustavo

He is a starter I wouldn’t say top anymore . He is on the down side of things.

Bernard Thompson

Yes, without a doubt and it’s about time he’s been put with a winning organization. For me Rivers is still an elite QB.

Albert Long

And he will prove it being out from under the spanos black hole

Neil Umscheid Jr.

I think its pretty close/borderline now, but will see I guess.

Derrick McQuinn

Yes, he is still a top 10 and will likely return to a top 5 this year with a better team. The Chargers didn't give him a front line - that will not be the case in Indy. I predict playoffs, possible division championship and passer ranking in top 5 this year.

Bob Rauch

I would say he is in the top half - so, if that is considered the top than yes he is. He is smart and may be becoming a game manager but he is a leader and will be great for the Colts.
