Everyone makes mistakes, including us, but some are particularly funny. And media outlets continuing to identify the Los Angeles Chargers as “San Diego” fits right in there, considering that they’ve been back in Los Angeles (the franchise started there in 1960, moved to San Diego in 1961, and then moved back to L.A. in 2017) for almost three years now and that people still keep calling them “San Diego,” from Stephen A. Smith (in fairness, that was only the third-most wrong thing in his Derrick Johnson versus Hunter Henry matchup analysis) to the Madden 19 glitch.

I’ll admit, instinctually was going to vote the other way. Everyone knows (why so many still tie them to SD) they belong here and always will. Life long fan until they left. Many years ago (much younger) I even chose to “brand” myself with tattoos ?‍♂️ ...people ask me all the time if I’ll cover them up or remove them.  My reply is always no. Fact is, I am proud of my past fandom, way too many memories, experiences and friendships around the San Diego Chargers and no one can take them from me. San Diego’s NFL team that represented our home, countless players that gave back to our community, fought and sacrificed their health on the field deserve no less. BUT that team no longer exists to me the day they chose to leave and “turn the page”. The ownership of the C-words of Carson gave our city a huge ?and made it very clear they don’t want any association with SD: our home, our culture our community, our loyalty and THIER history! So my vote is NO - they don’t deserve to be called San Diego - even though it brings a smirk and a sense of a ? right back at the Spanos’ when I hear it.

There should be no mention of the "chargers" at all. Once they left San Diego after 56 years they should have been stripped of the name "chargers" and had to change uniforms.They are dead to me and I hope nothing more than for karma to destroy the goldesn spoon fed Spanos family

They are gone. I still love the players who were here but ownership sucks. When they moved I stopped watching. Amazing how many others things there are to do rather than root for the Chargers. Find another team or just move on. I would welcome them back in a second but now they are LA but far from big time!

Even if they had been there at one time 57 years ago, they were in San Diego much longer than that, and you can't just wipe that away just because the greedy owner wants go big time all of a sudden. Do the right thing, Dean!  Bring the bolts back here to San Diego, their rightful place!!!!!!

LOL thanks Scott, here for team great friends as you all have been for me many many years!  Still feel like a rook on social media platforms (always been pretty anti and keep to myself)...but again you all helped me get past it.  Still avoid and struggle sharing my opinions &ldquo;to the world&rdquo; (why would anyone care really?) but feel like Sided.co is the best place to express them if/when someone feels the need and can be fun even addicting.  The ? in the ? actually cracked me up... thought about OG Charlie! Serious, Sides.co is really cool man, gaining some real momentum and it's only getting better!
