For my mom, I set up a zoom call with her 3 kids and spouses. Then we brought in the grand kids for a second wave so that the kids got to chat with mom and then the 7 grand kids came in, some of them with spouses! It was a blast watching my 88 year old mom handle zoom with authority and she loved every minute. Success!

Old School phone call for sure, maybe a facetime if shes in the mood. Also unless you want to be in the doghouse I wouldn't just text your mom on Mothers Days.

Well since these are the only choices. I will say phone call. But I didn’t make a phone call.. they might before the family had a bbq at my sis house and we all we’re together... so the Family go to see her and we all told her at midnight..
