Do you like the NHL's plan to jump straight into a playoff when it returns?

There is no reason to continue the ‘regular’ season when this season has already qualified as irregular!

If you want to find new fans, go directly into the playoffs, let’s see who is ready to play and finish. Every game becomes that much more interesting! Do it!

Seems unfair to the teams that don’t make the playoffs. But I dont watch hockey so guess it doesn’t matter

Bernard Thompson

It's a solid idea, can't find fault. Everyone should be happy!

Bob Rauch

Not a hockey fan, but the playoffs are the most exciting part. Get it going!

I guess on this, but to be honest at this point I feel like coming straight back to the playoffs doesn't bring much closure to a lot of Fan's/Teams that were right there before Corona.

I like it, because Montreal Canadiens have a chance haha. But it will be interesting how it all plays out.

Shaun DuCross

skip the regular season and go straight to the playoffs.

Albert Long

i mean i would always love to see more hockey than less hockey. but at this stage in the season it really does seem pointless to play regular season games and risk injury to players that have essentially been "resting" for 2+ months.
(i know they have been doing some home workouts. but it's not the same as practicing at the usual level)

NHL is being creative with the circumstances. NHL playoffs are where it's at.

Christopher Moreno

Yes, make it interesting. Play with a purpose.

Isn't playoffs what we all like best anyway??? I hope the NBA does something similar too!
