Well from what the hubby says ,and from what I have seen watching the games with him. Mahomes is the best player in the game right now, and Brady is old and washed up. Plus I seen the past super bowls and we don't root for that cheater brady at all in our house.

Lydia

Brady has done this for 20 years. He has probably lost a step but in my mind, there is no significant drop in his skills and his knowledge of what the defense will employ is legendary. Mahomes is more than an up and comer but he lacks the experience to exploit a defense without help from coaches. With less than two minutes, there are no coaches--a QB is virtually on his own. I take Brady all day long.

Bob Rauch

Mahomes has the intellect but also has the talent. Brady has a good deep ball good accuracy but he can’t extend plays like mahomes and he can’t make insane throws off platform 40 yards down field

Jacob

Even though Brady is known for comebacks. He is getting to far up there in age. He has lost a step, yes he still is a good QB, but on the other hand you have the best player in the league you are playing against. Mahomes has came back and won games multiple times. He can do it in many ways, he has a great arm where he can throw the ball at any angle, then he can run the ball if he has to.. I don’t see anyone beating Mahomes in the near future, he is a great player and he has taken over the game....

Bernard Thompson

Experience, experience, experience, hard to bet against him, especially on the grandest stage. Would be great if the game came down to this. Would be a happy NFL fan! We have seen it too many time, Seattle, ATL..... Mahomes will be that guy, but today, my $$ is on Brady.

Kristen Adelman

Collin

Mahomes for the win... he won’t need to come back he will already be on top..

Stephanie bates

I really think Brady still has it I know Patrick is more mobile but Tom has a lot of knowledge and he can get you so many different ways they're both great quarterbacks though let's go Tampa Bay I'm voting for the old guy because we're witnessing greatness and history being made

Philip J Muniz

The GOAT has proven himself time & again.

Seth Goldman

This question is strictly about the QB so that’s how I’ll answer it. I’ll strip out the supporting players like Evans, Kelce, Godwin and Hill to answer with nameless, faceless players playing the other 10 positions on offense.

In that case, it really comes down to who will be best in a pressure situation, who will make the best decisions and who can lead a team to victory. Gotta go with Brady on that for experience alone. Mahomes might get there later, but brady has just seen so much more that he’s ready for anything. Brady is in his 10th super bowl so the pressure of the situation won’t get to him. He’s gotta be the pick.

In 2021 the answer HAS to be Mahomes. Despite Brady’s 39 4th Qtr. career comebacks including the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history (LI vs. ATL), this Sunday Brady would be my second choice even though he has his greatest array of weapons in his career. At this point Mahomes has much greater arm talent and is the very best player in the entire NFL. But, that’s not the primary reason to select Mahomes over Brady here. But there are two factors that do make him the better bet this year: Team experience & performance vs. pressure. First, all of K.C.’s guys were there last year, down 10 in the 4th quarter and they pulled off the comeback against an even more fearsome defense in the 49ers. Mahomes, Hill, Kielce, Hardman and the defense all did it just last year. The Bucs have weapons but other than Brady none of them have sniffed a Super Bowl. Will his posse be swallowed up by the moment with all the marbles on the line? Well, we don’t know until it comes down to that. But with the Chiefs we know the answer to that question is a resounding “no.” Finally, the quality of each QB’s performance when under defensive pressure is dramatically different: Mahomes leads the league in rating against the blitz and Brady is a shell of himself against pressure, one of the league’s worst. Don’t u think the Chiefs know that? Of course, everyone does. And if it comes down to it, Spagnuolo will bring the house and Brady will be crumbled like the Blue Cheese dressing all over my wedge salad.

Work Sucks The Book

Brady has the intellect, but Mahomes by far is the one I would want. He has the athleticism, arm talent, mobility, all of what you need in someone who can get out of bad situations (such as taking a sack with that little time left), and getting the ball downfield in big chunks to score with that little time left. Mahomes by far is the better QB today

Cameron Sullivan

Yes Tampa on the 27 yard line 4th down 3 seconds on the clock . Down by 5, Brady in the shot gun OMAHA OMAHA OMAHA HUP HUP HIKE They fake a screen Brady then looks Left and throws at the pile on on the right where Gronk streches out and reels in the winning touch down !!!!!!!! Scoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore !!!!!

Tommy

Within 2 minutes left physical abilities are not nearly as important as the ability to withstand pressure and be clutch to take the w. Brady is so successful bc even though he lacks the physical talent he is much more mentally talented than most others which is why I’m taking him

Karan

Mahomes is very young and already has a MVP and a Super Bowl (MVP). Mahomes has shown that he could possibly pass Brady in being the GOAT close the the end of his upcoming HOF career

Michael

No brained. Mahomes has the legs to hurt you running or passing. Not to mention he has Hill who can blow right by the defense.

Matt Gilroy

He’s been there so many times, it’s the clear pick. Give me Brady

Alex Krueger

I think Tom Brady even though older, has been in so many high pressure situations that he is definitely someone I want for my QB. He is battle tested. Although is was still a fumble in 2002. Go Raiders!

Jim Bettencourt

I will take Mahomes all day, I respect what Brady has done in his career, this year is crazy the fact that Brady is even there. He threw 3 picks and they still won the game. Mahomes on the other hand, has the it factor. The difference between the two is Mahomes teammates believe in him to the end. Mahomes can extended plays with his feet when teams go into man coverage and continue to move the ball down field. This is the era of the ketchup loving Patrick Mahomes!

Victor Hourani

According to nfl.com Tom Brady has taken an uncharacteristic dip in completion percentage during the last 2 minutes of either half. His % is still 55%, which is average, but Mahomes stays at a more consistent 65% completion percentage, deviating less than 2% from his average. Brady on the other hand dips by close to 10% in the same stat. The redeeming quality for Brady is his role as a field general, reading defenses and calling audible plays. I don't believe the gap between Mahomes and Brady in this regard is large enough to make up for the decline in completion percentage from Brady. Last 2 minutes I'm taking Mahomes

Brian DeRosa

Brady has 6 game winning super bowl drives. Brady all day everyday

Vinay Singal

Tom Brady had the 3rd most all time game winning all time (48) Go with the proven track record.

Greg Garland

I would choose Mahomes He came back from 10 points in last years super bowl.

Brady can certainly get job done. His experience and ability to read defenses like they were created for pop warner football is exceptional. between the 10 and 50 yard lines, with less than two minutes to go in the game, I want Brady to be my quarterback. Outside the 50 yard line and goal to go, I want Mahomes. Mahomes is that exceptional option quarterback who create big plays and avoid sacks, especially with less than two minutes to go in the game. Inside the 10 yard line and With goal to go, Mahomes has the slight edge, due to his mobility. If Mahomes was not a mobile QB, this debate would clearly be sided with Brady. Either way, you can't lose with either Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady as your quarterback.

Keith Klipfel

Latson

Mahomes can do everything that Brady can do and more and mahomes is way more versatile

Nicolas

It’s a shame Mitch Trubisky won’t be in this conversation lmao. The come back kid.

I think the crown has been passed to Mahomes on this one. Yes Brady has been doing it for years but the new kid is a gun slinger and can throw receivers open better than Brady has in his entire career. To stop Brady you blitz him and allow him to take the underneath routes. Mahomes can climb the pocket and throw to a spot where his receiver will run to.

Justin Miller

Mahomes all day he is the stud in the league

Benson Ofelia

Teuta Duenez

tyler

Anthony Avila

It’s simple.. out with the old and in with the new..

Espinoza

More options with Mahomes. He's more athletic and will have a better chance if he needs to scramble.

Shane U

Brady has by far accumulated more in his career. One is the GOAT by far.
Mahomes has left his mark to the early part of his career. To state he is better then Brady is wrong. Brady has beaten down Father Time door to get where he is. Always overachieving. Yes, Mahomes record is impressive. At this stage of accomplishments, he just is not comparable to Brady.

Aaron Martin

Tom Brady is the goat but i look at the better coach and that is where the cheifs have the edge

Tyson mahaffy

Mahomes can scramble and make mobile plays, Brady needs an entourage of talent around him to win

TrollFamilyValues

Better movement more options late in game

B Burkitt

None that can do what he does. His athletic unorthodox plays give him the edge in the last two minutes.

Albert Long

Steve

That literally has nothing to do with the debate him already being on top has absolutely nothing to do with this scenario

Jacob

Speaking of being on top......................

He’s not a cheater and only jackasses think he is
