they shouldn't change the name but they should change the logo, and work more towards helping out native Americans and working with them to represent their culture in a better way

No just get with the appropriate group of Indians like the Aztecs did and make adjustments so there happy.

It’s so obvious that Dan Snyder is under pressure, and finally considering a name change after swearing he would NEVER be bullied into altering organizational history. Now, due to where we are in the world, as sponsors are pressuring, and partners are selling, Snyder is finally waking up. Yes they should change the name.

Great satirical article by Jason Gay in Wall Street Journal today. It's time.

It’s the most racist name in all of sports. Just supposed a team was named the BlackSkins what would American be saying

Stuart Left

Defend your name! It’s ridiculous to think anybody is offended over a football teams name. Grow up!

I like the idea of the team changing their names to the Washington Generals.

Keith Klipfel

IT IS A DEROGATORY TERM. Do people not know that?? It would be like having a team called the wops with a guy with a pizza on the helmet. Or a team called the kikes with a hasidic person on the helmet. It's wrong. Period.

MaryBeth Zmuda

The name Indians is rude and racist. It defeats the native american culture. Also, it gives people the wrong viewing of their culture.

Don’t really understand why people care about that name so much, just change it to the Washington Natives or something and move on!

Mike Kloha

It’s just time for a new name and logo. Especially if your sponsors want the changes.
