Are you clamoring for the MLB season to be played?

Scott Kaplan

Not really. I’m a big baseball fan. I will watch the World Series and the home run derby. I will go to a padre game but I’m not really watching the game just hanging out. Taking in the stadium.. so if baseball doesn’t come back I really don’t have a problem with it..

Absolutely, but unfortunately greed has a way of emerging in scarce times. All this does is show how dysfunctional the relationship between the NBPA and MLB is and how inflated the economics of professional sports has become if no fan revenue is expected and they can't come to an agreement. The focus should be player health and doing society a solid by playing some games and providing some mental relief, not trying to squeeze more bars of gold from one another. Sad, but expected.

Chaos is a ladder. Change some of the boring aspects of the game. It might mean the survival of the sport. I don’t care, though. Not a baseball fan.

Derrick McQuinn

So bummed but at this point it’s time to bury it and focus on figuring it out for next year... if the negotiations this year are any indication of next year... big trouble ahead. So bad for MLB and fans... they royally F’d this up!!

Joe Rigby

Unless it implements some changes to speed the game up a bit, I'd be fine if it dried up and blew away forever.

They take this season off and the people who don't care will only grow. Skipping the season for these players will just take money out of the players pockets in the long run - they get paid because people come and watch and watch on TV.

Jason Finley

No. If it happens it’ll seem fake, like a glorified exhibition season.
