The ramifications of this signing should affect the NBA for years to come.

Repeat world champs. There shouldn't even be another story.

He had all the makings of a superstar, we just didn't think it would happen this quickly. And now, in 2019, at the age of 20, he's arrived on a big league diamond. He's played in just 49 games, and he's already a star. It's not just his abilities on the field -- I'll get to those later. He has that unique glint, that shiny superstar glare that few possess. It's hard to fully explain, but it's there. It's in his golden hair -- flipping and bobbing just as fast as he can.

Tatis Jr is a generational talent. He missed a month of play due to injury, and yet his stats are unreal. BA is .327. OBP is .393. 14 homeruns. And have you seen the unreal defensive plays this kid makes?? He’s been a human highlight reel on the bases, and he's recorded the five hardest throws Statcast has tracked by a shortstop this season. And how about that SPEED?! Combine all that, with his adorable smile, and happy go lucky attitude, and this kid is a SUPERSTAR.

Look, baseball is not always exciting to watch. But FTJ makes you want to watch. Shouldn't the MLB All-Star game want to attract younger fans? Tatis, at just age 20 and already re-writing record books, would do just that. MLB made a giant mistake leaving Tatis Jr out of the All Star game.

Last time this happened 16years ago. Woman one last WC. Mexico beats US all the time. Big Kawhi fan but Unless Clippers are moving to SD don’t care. Tatis not big enough story. As side debate, would we want tatis to play ASG? injuries follow that dude like crazy. Suggestion for bigger topic
6) what’s going on with the #themightier1090

Even though I was in Portland getting picked up from my wife after being on the road for 2 1/2 weeks (drove through the Mojave Desert the previous week), I actually went into freak out mode when getting the news notification that said, “Southern California Earthquake - 6.6”. It startled the misses while she was driving in our car (keep in mind she’s from Alaska).

When I found out that the epicenter was out in Ridgecrest, I calmed down fast and was back to normal in seconds.

#1. Kawhi to Clippers w/ PG trade... I hate the Clippers but that was a bold move...
#2. Padres taking 3/4 from the Dodgers after the Giants losses.
#3. All Star Game and HR Derby snubs (tatis jr, Reyes, Renfroe)
#4. MLB Rookie of the Year
#5. 5 sec. TKO UFC

Aggie

I hate Kawhi/Clippers but that's the #1 story for sure... it captive us for

For a country that doesn't care about women or soccer, it seems that everyone is talking about the women's soccer world championship

Brian Taylor

As much as I love Mexico winning the gold Cup. There is no comparison to a WORLD cup.

Because it helps encapsulate the huge miss by MLB on the Tatis snub while at the same time gives the San Diego fans a chance to relive a great time beating their main rival LA

Woman World Cup is Top story. Just look at San Diego’s viewership numbers and it tells you it’s the top story. Love the Padres beating the Dodgers but it’s not better than the USWNT???

Tune in today at 3 pm for answers about the Mightier 1090.

Exactly, it's the World Cup. So what if padres won, the World Cup is once every 4 years.
