If there was no play-in tourney I'd say they are fine. I'm sure they would have liked to play the Jazz, Suns or Murray'-less nuggets rather than the Clippers. But with the play-in that's.just more high intensity games that guys can get hurt in or that they could get upsetted.

Though it’s vital the Lakers got the win to create some confidence and slight separation from the plain in scenario. Lakers still have issues squandering possessions by turnovers and missing FTs. They had 20 last night and shot 69% (16-23) from the line. Then there’s the scoring ineptitude that pops up in a matter of seconds. They went 5 mins not scoring during that comeback by the Nuggets. Until AD hit a shot to go up 4 in the closing moments. THT basket, though I’ll take lucky over good, is not a ringing endorsement to saying they’re back. Not yet at least.

For their standards and expectations of title or bust, yes this team is in big trouble. Other western conference teams are better than the Lakers and have more talent than years prior, plus I can see a scenario where the LakeShow loses four to the healthy Nets.

They definitely are. I see them getting the 6 seed and avoiding the play in but with these 3 who I’d argue are their 3 best players not being right it can be a huge problem. They got short time to rebuild their chemistry.

Yes they did, you may not have had the Lakers repeating, but Vegas and all the ‘experts’ did! So yes they are in trouble, injury could thing their chance to repeat!

Sacramento and Toronto, I agree, but the next 5 are against playoff teams, they gotta get it together man!
