For people like me who literally can't work directly because the government won't allow it yes

For people that have jobs back and are physically able to go back to work but would rather sit back and collect a check NO

Toby McDonald

I feel like the tax breaks for the "essential workers" is the only part that should keep going.

The economy is hurting; one look at unemployment will show double digits. We'll need to spend prudently to avoid setting off inflation and an even deeper hole. To say this is a shit show is an understatement!

If your going to put people out of work and expect people to stay home kinda have too. However i don’t believe this should apply to people who can work but aren’t because there taking advantage of the situation

Derrick McQuinn

Relief should be for people that really need it...not for people who don’t need it but qualify

Folks are struggling. This will provide temporary relief. The solution will come about when businesses are allowed to reopen and people can get back to work.

The government is there to assist us when we need them most

Yes because a lot of people need it. Just wish there was a way to weed out the people who don’t need it and are choosing to not work to get paid more

As long as it promotes keeping employees working, even if part time in the job share program in use at many hotels and businesses. Rather than paying a person to sit at home, they share a job, both get partial unemployment to offset lost wages, the employer keeps valuable help. The alternative when full unemployment continues is people won’t accept jobs and the businesses and ppl working suffer as they are over worked front line workers and the hotel or business is understaffed. This leads to unhappy guests as services provided aren’t the best. So the job share is a win win for all parties including the government.

If something helps people, why does it need to stop abruptly?
