doesn’t matter if he’s the president or not he still has to follow rules

It's so ridiculous they're taking away his freedom of speech and he's going to be out of office in a week or two anyways what's the point of any of this you need to get him on here that would be a game-changer

Philip J Muniz

I agree with breaking up all of these social media and big bank institutions. The social media protections make it so it has no checks and balances

Harold

At this point it’s just the domino effect and don’t think the platforms care.

Once his rhetoric online becomes a public safety threat, then he should be banned!

I believe that given the power of these 3 tech monsters, it is a violation of free speech

I'm all for freedom of speech, but Trump has used Twitter as his platform to lie, divide, project, hate and deny. The President of the United States should not use social media for these purposes, regardless of political differences. All he did for 4 years was campaign to his base and try to quash his detractors. It resulted in the events of last week and very well may cause more violence in the next week.

As my mom used to say when referring to potential customers and sales, "money talks and bullshit walks". I'll be honest, I really don't think Trump is interested in debating, discussing, or conversing on the issues that he's most passionate about. Do you? So, that makes me think that Sided, in its current format, may not be an attractive option at all to him or some of his followers. Regardless if Trump is a realistic option for Sided or not, scenarios like this do present good opportunities for your team to discuss and reflect on what type of platform Sided wants to become and what the true intentions are for you and your business partners. If Sided was established and designed from a business standpoint purely to grow it's user/investor/partner base and make money and sell, then I am sure you all would have no problem with Trump and his millions of followers using the site.

I don’t like it. Tech controls the modern world that we have to operate in, can’t let private companies be the sole arbiters. Essentially working in concert like a cartel.

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act needs to be revised. From my understanding, Facebook, Apple and Twitter have great power to censor the freedom of speech on views that they don't necessarily agree with. Their protections from this Act need to be removed as this will destroy the fabric our 1st Amendment Rights to free speech.

Trump can't even have a discord call with the bois 😭

Yeah but if he came on this platform I hope the servers would be able to handle the amount of people that would come on

Well the point is they don’t want him on their platforms it has nothing to do with his time left on his term. That argument is only valid I think for the impeachment case but that’s a another thing in itself. Surprised it has taken these platforms so long after the outrageous things he has said for years nothing new ticking time bomb.

I thought you were against government interference in business? Is Twitter along with these others a private company?
