I think it's more about player inconsistency than manager inability.  I think AG deserves a full and complete season with the new talent.  I think he has the support of the players, and as long as they respect him and are willing to play for him, he should have a full-season chance.

‪Needs to go.. I realize it’s players fault for not producing BUT it’s #FireGreen faults for hack inconsistent lineups, keeping players in the lineup that don’t belong on a 25/man roster... and the worst is the constant unnecessary pitching changes that cost runs!‬

I think Andy Green has brought accountability, respect, and grit to this team. At the beginning of the season I would have said he likely would not stick but I absolutely feel he should stay, and perhaps return if we continue to hover around 500. This season has gone better than expected, the fan base is responding and I'm now a fan of Green and feel his future in baseball might even be considered bright. He is great with the media, he is great with the players, and the team has gelled into a team with everyone seemingly pulling in the same direction. While we have some glaring holes still-it's not his fault that Kinsler has not been demoted to 2nd string yet and that Mejia hasn't taken off as expected. Myers has been a debacle but these are all Front office decisions. Green has done better than expected and SD is once again a fun and exciting team to play for and watch. Go Padres!
