What do the Chargers need to become a good team?

Move back to San Diego; have Spanos sell the team; find a great owner who will spend the money to bring in top-notch free agents, a great head coach with a proven track record, and a GM that goes for broke on draft picks. Start there, OK?

They should make a trade with Skins for Trent Williams.  Rivers deserves a better OL.

I don't think moving back to sandiago's going to change anything. they stocked when they moved, and unless something changes they'll suck when they get back to Qualcomm. Pass that I agree with AllieRat that everything has to change. A name coach with a proven winning record, trade for proven players. A coaching staff that knows what the hell they're doing.

But the one thing that actually needs to happen will not. Spanos is the owner and unfortunately you can't go without an owner unless he's done something really horrible. And unfortunately for the three Chargers fans in LA and the 10 still in San Diego, Mr. Spanos has kept his nose clean.  What this team needs is someone with a really big bag of money that's Mr. Spanos will not easily ignore.
