Has Kevin Faulconer done a good job as Mayor of San Diego?

NO! He is part of the reason nothing ever gets done in this town!

Yes, Mayor Faulconer has done a fine job and should consider running for Governor of California in the future.

Roy Timothy

WORST mayor in San Diego history. One example. He has been on city council or mayor since '06. During that time FIVE GRAND JURY REPORTS warning of imminent threat of Hep A Outbreak. What did Kevin do? NOTHING. 20 people died from his inaction, worst Hep A outbreak in U.S. history.

No matter what you think of Spanos, Faulconer still played a big role in letting Chargers leave. He also has directed Code Compliance to do nothing about Short Term Vacation Rentals. 11K WHOLE HOMES off the market, fueling housing crisis.

Also we have scooters/bikes all over the streets for idiots to jump on and recklessly maneuver around town, putting innocent people's lives at risk. What does Kevin care? When I go downtown with my kid, I have to hold him to my hip in fear some schmuck will wipe him out as we go around a corner and it's almost happened a few times.

Faulconer put his own political aspirations over what is right for the city of San Diego. Time and time again he looks to his donors and people with money to make decisions. He is the WORST. I've met him, he has ZERO personality. I hate to say this but he has no soul, just look at him speak, he's one of the biggest phonies I've ever seen.

Since we are in a black and white response I choose the No category because of his complete failure with the Chargers and his failure to bring leadership to the convention center situation. The Sports Arena property will be the same situation. The City counsel will sell it off to developers and miss the opportunity to create something great for the tax payers. The stadium will continue to languish in limbo while our City leaders all get a thorough palm greasing.

Um...we are going to have parking lots full of car dwellers and we have motorhomes on streets now all over the place.....pot holes everywhere...and that's just the stupid surface stuff.....what about all the really important stuff...like losing the Chargers, making building homes impossible, taxing the shit out of us for what??? Ugh --- terrible job. Such a nice guy - but, nope, not a good job.

Right now Kevin Faulconer has only accomplished issues for part of the constituancy. The mayor is supposed to be neutral until it is time to break a deadlock. So far he has been moderate to left leaning and two faced to the right.

Congressman Charlie Crist once told me there are 3 types of local politicians 1) Dumb 2) Corrupt 3) Dump & Corrupt. The Mayor is an insurance sales guy who was put in for a purpose with his clan. He can not get off the script or handle new information. He got is payoff for whatever scheme was going on behind the scenes. And did absolutely nothing else because he is not smart enough : and does not know how to think on his feet and pivot.

Like all Mayors since Mo O'Connor, both parties, he's in the pocket of the hotel industry and a big reason why no stadium, no expansion of the the Convention Center in timely fashion, no relocation/rebuilding of the Sports Arena, and a host of other problems.
