Hell yeah, but I also think the real option should be hell yeah, but it won’t happen. Unless Dean does something egregious I don’t know if it’s possible to force any sale without getting tied up in some litigation. That being said, I would think the NFL has their feelers out as soon as they heard he’s interested. I’m sure they’d be looking at any way they could to bring on one of the richest people in the world with that money behind it. Maybe they can point him in the direction of the Chargers and get him to overpay to get Dean out quietly. Then I’d assume Bezos to be smart enough to know he has a fan base in San Diego where fans would jump on board and throw money at him just because we have our team back and the Spanos family is no longer involved

How do we know Bezos wants the Chargers. My preference would be to force a sale, have billionaires line up, and hopefully Steve Balmer does what he did with the Clippers, over pays because he can, and wants it. The Clippers are reportedly moving to their own arena in Inglewood, which would make Balmer the perfect owner of the Chargers, an equal, perhaps even richer than Stan the Man. If you hate the Chargers now, because they moved from SD, could you get on the LA Charger bandwagon with an owner like Balmer?

Absolutely. I think Bezos and the Chargers would be a great fit. Amazon is already in bed with the NFL, so Bezos can take it a step further and own a team. He has to realize though, that realistically, one team can survive in LA - the Rams. He could be king of the castle bringing back the Chargers to SD.

Don’t think it will happen. Bezzo is linked with the Seahawks though since the owner passed away couple years ago. I think theirs other teams in the mix but Chargers are not one of them. Read it in article that fightforSd posted.

Yeah just seems a little farfetched with the chargers and Bezos. Now the NFL forcing Spanos sell is almost certain to happen at some point.

The NFL doesn’t care about the fans. So would want to work with the city of San Diego? That government can’t get anything done! Even if an owner would pay for everything him/herself, someone, some where would file a lawsuit.

Sounds great on paper but why on earth would he want to buy the Spanos franchise. Even if he did the league isnt going to force anyone to sell anything. Hed be better off buying the Broncos or a team that already has a huge national fanbase But believe me I wish he would buy the Spanos and bring the San Diego Chargers back
