I think that it is a close knit group of people who will look out for you. In a dorm, you can feel lonely and not necessarily know your neighbors and have anyone looking out for you. I think having your brothers in the house with you is a great way to build friendships and learn leadership! Living in a fraternity house is not ALL about partying.

I just graduated from Northern Arizona University, I know that it is sometimes hard for a Freshman to get into his frat's house their first semester of pledgeship..but the only reason I would be mad about my potential kid living in his frat's house is just because I would still be paying for his dorm. I personally loved going to every frat house. You definitely see that they build a brotherhood by living with one another. There is so much fun and other jazz that happens! :)
