Kansas has best claim to the national championship after NCAA tournament cancellation | USA Today

KU deserves to be named NCAA Men's Basketball National Champions!

this debate is ridiculous. San Diego State had a better record....,so...., by your logic why aren't you awarding them the championship?

I believe that there is no question that KU should be crowned the NCAA champions. The numbers do not lie for Kansas. Strength of schedule, quad 1 wins, wins over other 1 seeds, only quad 1 loses, 2 all Americans, defensive player of the year finalist, undefeated in BIG 12 play on the road, voted by the most coaches to win the tournament and potentially 3 first round draft picks. KU had the perfect hand going into the tournament, unfortunately all every fan base can do now is say "what if"

There has to be a tournament! no other way to crown the top dog.

Agree! They were the best team in college basketball. No tournament but the polls speak for themselves!

You Have To Play The GAMES!!!!What is beautiful of the NCAA tournament is there will be upsets. This year, there was no team that was clearly above the rest of the field. This year's tournament would have been the best yet for upsets, if the tournament was not cancelled.

1.) We should be talking about SDSU!!!!2.) There are always upsets, you have to have a tournament to crown a champ.

Bill Self is corrupt criminal cheater. Silvio De Sousa is a kid being taught to be shady and taking money to get this team deep in the tournament. Kansas should be put on "Basketball Death Penalty" banned from NCAA and Big 12 tournaments. Bill Self needs to be put a on "show of cause" penalty and permanently banned from coaching college. He needs to go be an assistant with Spurs and learn how to coach in the NBA. Also Kansas needs to stripped of the 2007-08 National Championship team because it obviously had "paid players" on that team....
