Yes my Husband gets me expensive luxury gifts all the time. Birthdays , holidays, anniversaries. and sometimes just because. Don't get me wrong I do the same to him I spoil him as well. But women love expensive gifts all the time........

I get her gifts that are personal and thoughtful. Once in a while this might be something expensive, but my wife likes unique/artistic and is not a brand whore.

Depends on the holiday, for the most part my wifes more into going and having an experience then some big fancy gift. Partially due to how she grew up and was raised. On the bigger holidays like Christmas or her birthday I usually get something bigger/fancier.

I buy my Wife Luxury items all the time and she does the same for me. We don't do surprises we tell each other what we want and we both go and get it. What can I say I guess we are both just high maintenance

I think this is very circumstantial. If you have a wife/gf who likes those expensive items, well, that's what you signed up for. My wife prefers we save our money for vacations, but that's because we've been together over 10 years and we have a child. It just depends, I guess.
