The NL is lame. Having pitchers hit is so stupid. They play once a week and will never be good at hitting...It takes a crucial bat out of the manager’s arsenal. The DH can also prolong a solid player’s career e.g. Jim Thome, Frank Thomas, Edgar Martinez or give a slugger a chance to shine like David Ortiz.

I agree the NL is behind the times. However, I am a strong hater of the Yankees and their fans. And you can respond saying 'Count the rings' or 'Greatest team of all time' and those responses will only back up my point that the Yankees have the worst fans
