Why is the stock market continuing to hit new records?

Because most investors believe Trump will win,  continuing the stock growth of the past 4 years.

Because most investors are irrational and the stock market is experiencing an historic bubble that will soon pop.

Because Obama’s economic polices set the country up for the continuing stock market rallies we are seeing today.

Because most investors believe Biden will win, finally pulling us out of the economic mess Trump created.

Thres truth in a lot of this, I think the biggest is that most think Trump are going to win, but on the other hand the Stock Market is a fickle thing that is impacted on dumb/silly things.

There are so many mixed signals it's crazy.  Will we see hyperinflation of deflation?  Government is flushing cash into the system by both borrowing as well as QE.  Investors are betting both ways depending on how they see the future.  So many small businesses going under right now actually strengthens the position of publicly traded companies.  Gold is surging as a result of inflation fears.  On paper the economy looks good but lots of people are hurting.  The stock market is only one market.  Small business is very important and it is getting neglected.  At some point that pain could be expressed by lower consumer spending but right now those numbers look good.

I agree....Although some businesses are struggling, there are a lot of businesses that are experiencing record highs. People are buying right now.
