Kawhi's career is still unfolding, and Trevor and LT deserve some consideration as well, but you got to go with Gwynn hands down here. Plus you got to get Seau in here as well and I would put Dan Fouts over Rivers anyday of the week, wtf!

Tony was more than just a ball player. He was the city of San Diego through and through. Can’t imagine someone else holding up to that.

Gwynn easily. Just looking at his career and the fact that he played here and for his whole career. Hoffmans problem while he is definitely high up the list is because he played a Majority of his career at the same time with Gwynn. After that at the current moment I'd say Kawhi, his only downfall is he doesn't play here because we don't have a basketball team. As for Tomlinson and Rivers its because the Chargers Left, additioanly because Tomlinson was such a traitor on the issue (though at the same time I understand). As for Pumphrey his pro career went nowhere.

Love Rivers and LT and if chargers where still in SD it would be a lot closer, but Tony Gwynn was mr. Padre plain and simple.. He played here lived here, coach here and unfortunately passed away here if that isn't SD what is! I am shocked pumphreys is a choice over Junior Seau

Guys night Lab (Jesus)

I wanted to include SDSU players as well which unfortunately forced me to take Seau off. He was incredibly influential to the team and the city but I do value the QB position above all which is why I put Rivers in over Seau. Rivers has had significantly better numbers as a Charger than Fouts did and neither gave the city a Super Bowl.

Who is the GOAT of San Diego sports?
