How far can SDSU basketball go in March Madness

Nick

Hate to say this, but the Sweet 16. Am hoping they could make it to the Elite 8. Never know how the tournament plays out and reaching the Elite 8 is a possibility for this team.

Keith Klipfel

See them winning their first game and then an upset loss. Their recent games against weak foes have found them falling behind early then having to fight back. That plan ran out of gas against a very mediocre UNLV at home. Not going to be easy for the Aztecs wherever they play.

Stu Schreiber

Its San Diego. Spanos has cursed the entire city.

Toby McDonald

My gut is the Sweet 16, at this point there likely to run into someone else thats pretty good. The other issues is the lack of Tournament Experience for them.

Derrick McQuinn

I would love to celebrate a championship in San Diego. But let’s be realistic. It’s San Diego: home of the chokers.

Losing to UNLV shows their armor has kinks. They might squeak by one round but I don't think they have the size to match up with some of the top teams.

Stingray

I agree with your last sentence. It will not be easy whoever the Aztecs will play in the tournament.
