Imo the top 3 players of all time are MJ, Lebron and Kareem. I think career wise MJ just has the perfect career, he has 6/6 finals, winning finals mvp the six times, he also has 5 MVPs with a DPOY that shows he was dominant in both ends of the floor. But honestly if I were to draft any player for my franchise I would choose Lebron number, he is bigger, faster, stronger, has a better basketball iq and more durable than MJ. I also think he makes his teammates better because he is a facilitator. Besides that I think he is also the more versatile defender (MJ is better a defending his position).
