The article from the Athletic that got me pissed off.

All Astros, and any other players caught cheating should be banned from baseball!!!

VERIFIED

This seems like an overreaction. I can understand a suspension for a year like what the coach or GM got.

Let's take an aggressive stand now and say goodbye to this being a part of baseball once and for all

Not against it but reality is would be tough and I’m sure would be wrapped up in arbitration/legal for years... taking away from the sport in general - MLB won’t do it. Heavy suspensions... maybe, but even then were the players following what they were told?? Hard to determine... IF concrete proof or admittance they were cheating; initiate ban 4 life, hello Mr. Rose ?

Just don't see it, and I think Geoff Blums comments on the show last night were probably one of the best takes I've heard so far.

You'd have to pinkslip the whole F'ing league. C'mon man.

Cheating in baseball has been part of the national pastime for a hundred years. Cork in bats, spitballs, steroids, stealing signals from seconds base. Total overreaction that's totally hypocritical.
