What will happen when the extra $600 for unemployment ends next month?

Michael Johnson

Already baked in as they say. Trump will have a 2nd stimulus before the conventions.

Anthony Avila

nothing will happen people will still not go back to work. So they can get paid to do nothing at home. they just wont get that extra $$

Bernard Thompson

VERIFIED

"Rioters" will finally have to earn a paycheck...

I would guess a mild economic downturn, as some of those people will still be unemployed. I know in my industry in construction over 1 million people lost their jobs and its not like those jobs come back right away.

Derrick McQuinn

It’s gonna be a tough road back but don’t think (perhaps hope) it will be mild.

Joe Rigby

Truth is, we need those to end and we need to get people back to work. The left will lobby for extension and the right will want to get business going more so business owners can hire. There will be minimum impact because one of those (left or right) will win and get their way. Only difference is the left provides a handout, the right provides a solution that is long term.

Bob Rauch

i think it could range from mild to major. i know a lot of people think people collecting umemployment are trying to avoid working now but i feel like overall that isn't the case. and when the CAREs act goes away MANY MANY MANY people who are still having trouble gaining employment are going to have lots of trouble making ends meet. and in the outside chance there is a large second wave, they will be f*cked.
